My new friend

His name is Henry Arthur (and I only call him by his full name). Cici and Poppy got a new puppy and he is sooo much fun! I had no idea how cool little dogs were...I can walk him with out getting pulled, we take turns chasing each other in circles, and he even wants to sleep with me when I stay at Cici and Poppy's house. I think my mama and daddy should think about getting a small dog. It might be a good addition to our fam and then Ruby would have a playmate! Happy Monday y'all! I have been sick with pink eye and a fever all weekend. I missed school on Friday, so I was SUPER excited to go this morning. I don't like having to miss a day! Today it is very humid and is suppose to get in the mid 80's by middle of the week. We are all ready for a bit more of fall. I have noticed a few leaves changing colors and falling to the ground. I told my mom that I wanted to rake them up and jump in the pile. Too bad that we don't have a yard or very many leaves. We carved 2 of our pumpkins this weekend...ONLY happy faces. I do NOT like the scary ones. My mom roasted the pumpkin seeds and made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I loved the cookies, but not so much a fan of the pumpkin seeds. I told my mom on the walk to school this morning that 'I was puzzled!' The things that I say...sooo funny! OH, big news!! I got my 1st bike (a two wheeler with training wheels) yesterday. It is white, just like my dad's. My dad and I put it together and then took it for a spin. It is awesome and very fancy. He said that we will go out and practice every day! YIPPEE! Have you ever read the book Mike and the Bike? It is my favorite and has been for years! We go in and out of phases where we read it every (or multiple times) a day. It is my dad's fav too. It also comes with a CD that we listen to in the car...over and over and over again. You should check it out. The best book! Anyway, while we ride together we recite the story. xoxo cmf
