Ironman Couer d'Alene, Idaho June 2011

This was a huge day for my Dad. We had so much fun in this cute little town. We rented a great house with the Ray family. Our house was right on the run course, so we got to see Mr. Mike and my Dad run by a few times. We walked from out house up to the bike course and got to see them pass by us. We had clappers and cow bells ready!! The weather was great for the day of the race. The Finch fam from Seattle came over to help cheer everyone on and be there to see my Dad cross the finish line. While we were in Couer d'Alene my mom and Miss Amy entertained me, Holiday and Sonny. We went to an awesome playground and even went on a pirate ship that toured the lake.

Check post below this one. More pics and story. We did a lot while on vacation. Planes, cars different houses, sight seeing...always going and going! I was a perfect traveler. I think the last night I asked my mom when we were going to sleep in our own beds and when we were going home. I was ready to be home.

BIG summer trip

We flew in to Seattle WA and then traveled over to Coeurd'Alene ID for a long weekend. We were gone 9 days. We had been planning this trip for quite awhile. Timmy competed in his 1st IRONMAN in Coeurd'Alene. WOW. What an accomplishment. He was training and talking about it for 8 months. 2.4 mile swim followed by 112 mile bike and then top it off with a full marathon, 26.2 mile run. He finished in 13 hours 27 minutes. AWESOME! Cahal and I were there to cheer him on whenever we could. We had a great time in Seattle with Peter, Miriam, Sophie and Auden. They were great hosts to us...even giving up their master bedroom. We tried to cram in the space needle, Fremont and the troll, the zoo, experience music project and the public market along with home made family dinners and walks. We had a delicious dinner and visit with Aunt Anne and fam. It was great to meet baby Lauren and Laura finally. We loved every minute of it. Oh, the weather...wow, what a nice change for us at the end of June.

Seattle ZOO

Sophie, Auden, Aunt Miriam, Daddy, Mama and I all went to the zoo one day while we were visiting WA. It was great. I wanted to be in charge of the map and where to go. I really wanted to see the special DINO exhibit that they had going on. I loved it, not scared one bit. We saw all of the animals and we even got to feed the birds. I was excited to try, and as soon as I stuck out my Popsicle stick with bird seed on it, a bird came flying down and landed on my hand. Well, that was the end of that...I freaked out and started crying. I guess I didn't know what to expect or was not ready. I told my mama and dad that the bird bit me. Too funny!! After the oo we went to a delicious pizza place and had pizza and gelato. A wonderful day with my cousins! oh yeah, check out how we are dressed...can you believe it?! And it was the end of June!

Summer Yoga Camp

I did two weeks of camp this summer, one week in June and one week in July. Both were yoga camp...I had a great time. I went M-F from 9-noon. The 1st day I was really nervous and cried when we walked in to the room. I didn't want my mama to leave me. I ended up doing great and I decided to go back for a 2nd session in July. My yoga teacher, Miss Caryn, was so nice. And the most exciting part is that now she is going to teach at my school once a week. Starting tomorrow, Miss Caryn will come to my school every Wednesday. FUN! I am pretty good at the sun salutation and i like to do the tree and airplane poses.

I create new costumes all the time

Here is one of them. I am always dressing up or creating new costumes/characters/super heroes with my dress up box. I think this guy was a "shop guy." Or maybe I was on my way to work, like my Dad. I had a mustache made out of paper and I was wearing one of my Dad's ties. Very cool. Scroll down to see a few more new posts...I am really going to try and catch up this week! Sorry!
