We flew in to Seattle WA and then traveled over to Coeurd'Alene ID for a long weekend. We were gone 9 days. We had been planning this trip for quite awhile. Timmy competed in his 1st IRONMAN in Coeurd'Alene. WOW. What an accomplishment. He was training and talking about it for 8 months. 2.4 mile swim followed by 112 mile bike and then top it off with a full marathon, 26.2 mile run. He finished in 13 hours 27 minutes. AWESOME! Cahal and I were there to cheer him on whenever we could. We had a great time in Seattle with Peter, Miriam, Sophie and Auden. They were great hosts to us...even giving up their master bedroom. We tried to cram in the space needle, Fremont and the troll, the zoo, experience music project and the public market along with home made family dinners and walks. We had a delicious dinner and visit with Aunt Anne and fam. It was great to meet baby Lauren and Laura finally. We loved every minute of it. Oh, the weather...wow, what a nice change for us at the end of June.
