Sorry it has been sooo long!

I have had a great summer so far...
I have been to Ohio for a family party and then to Maryland for another family party-both by plane. I liked flying. I also loved meeting all of my family. I don't think I was put down for two weekends straight-everyone wanted to hold me. I love that! I started crawling about a month ago and now I just want to crawl to something that I can pull myself up on to a standing position. I have to stand up in my crib right when I wake up and wait for someone to come and get me. I am starting to like my bed a lot more. My parents are trying to get me to sleep all night long...I cooperate sometimes or maybe like 4 times so far...I have started to try some teething biscuits and cheerios. I'm not sure that I really like the solid food thing. My mom keeps trying something new everyday. I am still trying to figure out how to get the food from my hand to my mouth. It is difficult. I just got a new tooth this week. It is on the top and this is #3 for me. Two on the bottom and this big guy up top! We will keep posting pictures of all my adventures this summer. I hope everyone is doing well. Love to all!!

Hello Everybody!

Mom had some new pictures of me taken and Dad immediately stuffed one in his wallet to show everyone in town. We must have taken like a million pictures and then I looked at them all on the big, flat screen TV at the store. The lady taking my picture was making all kinds of weird noises so I was looking all over the place. If she would have just calmed down I would have looked at the camera like I love doing all the time anyway. Live and learn.

I'm almost crawling now and wind up getting a lot of rug fuzz in my mouth because I fall down a lot. I don't always roll around on the ground. Like the other day, my cousin Brett came over and I got in my jumparoo and Brett was in my exersaucer. We had fun making noises at each other and playing.

I also went on a fun boat ride with Chloe and everybody. I don't know if it was the glare of the water or what, but I started making a funny "shark face" as Uncle Josh called it. I make that face a lot now. I'll have to get a pic and post it.

Oh yeah, the Fourth of July! We all went out to Poppy and CiCi's house early in the morning and watched a parade. The bikes the kids were on were all decorated red, white and blue and the older kids shot water in our faces. The worst part of all was when the fire truck men thought they would be funny and do their siren right next to my head. I cried.

Later there was a big cookout and tons of people at the pool. I didn't have any barbecue stuff though. Mom always packs my dinner special.

Speaking of barbecues, we went to a party for one of Dad's friends and there were a lot of babies there. For once I was not the only boy, too. It was at the James Island Yacht Club and although the ladies who came to meet me right away were nice and pretty, I think it may have been too much at once. I cried. It was all okey dokey later, though, because I had fun meeting everyone and getting passed around.

Big Boy- 6 months!

Hello there

I had my 6 month check-up and I weigh 16lbs.11oz. I am 27 inches long. I am feeling good and starting to move around a lot! I have not figures out how to crawl yet, but I think I am close. I celebrated father's day with my dad and I gave him a card all by myself! My cousin's mom brought over this jumper thing that you hang from the door frame and WOW is that fun. I just hang around and jump a lot. I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the summer.

I got twoofs!

I am six months old now!
My dad started a new job for the summer and he is in summer school...so he has been bad about updating my blog. sorry. My mom thought she would try to do this blog thing...at least until I learn to type.
A lot has happened in the past month or so...I had my grandma and pop pop visit from Maryland and we had a great time. My mom had a BIG birthday and that was a fun party. I now have TWO teeth and I think I look really cute! My hair has started to grow and it is red like my dad's hair and my dog Ruby's. I am now eating fruits and veggies and I LOVE them. My faves are peas and pears. I went swimming in a HUGE bathtub and it was sooo fun. My mom and dad called it a pool. i also decided that the funniest thing I have ever heard in my whole life is the sound that a duck makes...Quack, quack, quack! bye.
