We had a great Mother's day. It started at Vickery's for a yummy brunch sitting outside at Shem creek. Then we decided to go to the strawberry festival. It was great. There was a ferris wheel, a train ride, a pirate ship ride, a helicopter ride and more. I loved all of the rides! We also saw a clown and he made the best balloon animals. I requested a cat and he made me one on a leash. What a fun day!

Easter 2011

We had a delicious brunch, sitting outside near the water. The place we went for brunch had an Easter egg hunt with one golden egg, and a special craft for the children and the Easter bunny made an appearance. It was so fun! Piper found the golden egg and got a special prize. I hugged on the bunny!

Easter morning 2011

I woke up very early. Opened my door and the bunny had left me a note. I ran into my parents room with the note and stuffed bunny from the Easter bunny and they read it to me. I then had to search for my basket and all of the eggs that the bunny hid all over my house. Fun! I found everything in a very short time and I was already eating peeps. I love marshmallows and just learned this year that peeps are just that with a little more sugar added. Yum! My mom made hot cross buns and we just relaxed until it was time for another egg hunt, a visit from the Easter bunny and brunch. Oh, guess what? You are not going to believe this. The Easter bunny pooped in my house! And guess what he poops? JELLY BEANS! Little piles of jelly beans left by the front door. Oh my!

Easter egg time on the porch

We did the eggs on the porch. We love this house and porch. The weather was beautiful. I'm wearing my Batman costume AGAIN! I really love to get dressed up. My new favorite thing to play is pirates...my dad and I get all decked out in pirate gear and go searching for the mermaid (my mama) and for treasure. Anyway, this Easter was great. I saw the Easter bunny at the mall and then again on Easter morning at the place where we were having brunch. I gave him a high five and hugged him. So very excited to see him. My mama and I made a special trip out to the mall because she heard that he would be there and he was! I wore my white bunny ears, my cowboy boots and my batman shirt to see him.
