Buzz Lightyear and Bullseye
Hello. TGIF! Well, here I am with my dog. I was playing Toy Story with Ruby. Notice my Buzz Pj's? How awesome are those? My cousin's Max and Aidan sent those to me a few weeks ago. I LOVE them. They sent me a Woody pair too...I switch between the two every night. I still play Toy Story everyday and have most of the guys that go with it. Chloe and Piper came over all day yesterday, and when I got home from school we all played Toy Story together. My favorite to play with is Buzz. I was having a bit of a hard time sharing Buzz with Chloe, so....I had a time out. I know, you don't believe it, right? :) Not too many time outs for me, but I was really not being good yesterday afternoon and had a huge fit. Last night my mama, Dad and I went up to Marion Square for a bike and brew fest and movie showing. I didn't last very long, but it was great fun. This weekend we have the farmers market, a green fair, and a cook out with some friends. My mama said that we can go and visit my dad at work when she picks me up from school today. I love to go and sit in his chair in his office. My mama and dad trimmed my hair the other night...not that anyone would be able to notice. Just an inch off of a few longer and stringy pieces in the back. I still love my long hair and was actually surprised that I let them cut a tiny bit off. Oh, good news. My parents went out on Wednesday to see Jason Mraz with Mr Matt and Miss Lindsey. Only reason that I am telling you that is because that means I get a babysitter! Miss Megan!! I love her and count down the hours until she arrives. She is so sweet and plays everything with me! It was awesome! Enjoy the weekend. Peace to all. Much love.

NYC 2010 Labor Day Weekend
Hey y'all! We went on a family vacation...our 1st family vacation. We went to New York City for the long Labor day weekend (my dad and I didn't even have to miss school or work). It was unbelievable! I went in an airplane, a taxi cab and a subway train. We went all over the city. I was exhausted. FAO Schwarz, Central park and the Central park zoo, the museum of natural history, Toys R Us, a mac and cheese restaurant, had the best cheesecake in the city and the list goes on and on. We really packed it in! I was a great traveler on the plane and our hotel was awesome. Very modern and right in the heart of Times Square. I got to sleep in bed with my parents which was fun...it was a huge king size bed. They picked our room because of the bunk bed that it had over the king bed, but I wanted to snuggle with them instead! :) I have soo many pictures to show you. I hope that you enjoy! CMF
P.S. School is going very well. I am learning many Russian words and now participating in gymnastics (it took me a couple weeks to get into that). I am tracing letters in sand and making all of the letter sounds. I am counting to 20 and know how to spell my name. I have been coming home with letters that I can now write. Montessori is awesome and amazing!

Jack Johnson @ Walnut Creek Raleigh NC Aug. 21 2010
We had a blast. We drove(thanks Linds and Matt for lending us your car) up to Raleigh, NC and stayed at a nice hotel right in the middle of downtown Raleigh. There was a car show going on right outside of the hotel...added bonus. There was a monster truck that was SO big I could stand underneath it! Also we found a great gastropub to eat dinner before the show. We had awesome seats for the show...plenty of dancing room. G Love opened for Jack Johnson and he was really good too. I was great on the drive to NC(read books, watched a movie and had lots of snacks), at the hotel and at the show. I love the hotel room. My parents forgot that I have not been in a hotel since I was a baby...it was all new and WONDERFUL to me. My dad and I shared a bed and my mom got her own because she had been sick the whole week before and we didn't want her germs! I stayed up realllly late, but we all slept in the next morning and then headed back to Charleston. Tons of pics to post from the trip. Enjoy! I hope to go to another concert very soon!
P.S. Jack even played the Curious George song for me! ;)
