ME!

I had a great weekend. Wonderful weather, family and friends. My mama and I went to Fresh Berry after school on Friday for a frozen yogurt treat. We always share a chocolate and vanilla yogurt and we get strawberries, almonds AND mini gummy bears on top! :) Then we walked down King Street and looked for some new sneakers for me. no luck. Daddy came home and we had to drive to the outlet mall to look for some shoes...we found a pair. Wish we could have found them without driving in the car, but no luck with that this time. I also got my Halloween costumer while we were at the outlet mall. I love it!! Saturday was filled with beach fun. My mama and I met my friend Cole and his mom out at Folly. It was very windy, but a great morning. Today my mama and I walked to the playground and Harris Teeter. Then my dad finally finished working for the week and came home (he worked 83 hours this week). The 3 of us then went out the beach to relax a bit. We went to Sullivan's today, Then to eat at Dunleavy's pub and finished it off with ice cream. We went to a chain ice cream store and we won't make that mistake again. It is Paulo's Gelateria ONLY for us from now on. That or Frozen Berry. ;) Tired, full and happy. How sweet it is! Singing (and dancing, playing and splashing) in the rain!

We have had a bunch of big rain storms that past few weeks. One afternoon my dad and I went out to play in the rain. Our street was flooded at least 6-8 inches high. The storm came right at high tide...that is never good for downtown Charleston, unless you have a boat to go down the street in! I put on my rain boots and off we went to explore and SPLASH! Fun times! As soon as I came in it was bath time for me. We had to pour water out of my boots! :) Happy Friday! Today is show and tell day at school, but I didn't bring anything. My teacher says it is my responsibility to tell my parents what the weeks show and tell theme is...and they couldn't get it out of me. Maybe one Friday this year it will happen?! Tomorrow morning I am headed 1st thing to the farmers market for produce, little donuts and fresh ravioli and then to the beach for a play date with my friend Cole.

I finally love to take showers now. My parents have been trying to get me in the shower for years!
My dad and I have matching bike helmets. Very cool. We were on our way to the grocery store in this picture.
The weather is still hot, but nice. We use the bike to get around town all the time. I like when my mom picks me up from school on the bike. I am getting a bit big for my bike seat...we are trying to decide what the next step will be?!
August has flown by. I am loving school. I am always cracking my parents up by what I say.
We just repainted our bathroom in our apartment and it looks really nice. My parents painted their room as well and hung up a bunch of new family pictures. It looks great! My room has been painted and I love it. I have very cool bicycle sheets and a great train table. The next step is to paint the living room and hallway, that's a big project.
My dad is still working like crazy, but loving it. My mom has been working part time and that is going well too. The best part is that she can drop me off at school, go to work, and then pick me up from school. She loves that and tells me that I am her 1st priority...whatever that means.

i started school last monday. i go from 9am til 3pm everyday. i love it! i walked right in on the first day!

Trip to Maryland

We went on an airplane to Maryland to visit family. Ihave not been on a plane in over a year...I loved it and was very well behaved. All of our flights were delayed, so we spent a lot of time in the airports. We stayed with my cousins, Max and Aidan. Those guys are AWESOME! I had a blast playing with all of their toys and we all got to sleep in the same room together. We went to a carnival and I rode on most of the rides with Aidan. I really loved it! My parents were shocked that I would go on the rides.Here are a few pics of the carnival and one 1 of me and my mama in the plane (all taken with my dad's cell phone). I will post more of the trip in a couple days. Today is my 1st day of school...m-f...9a-3p...I will let you know how it goes! I am excited to start back! CMF
