Christmas morning 2009

As you can see from the pictures, Santa left many presents under our Christmas tree. He also stuffed our stockings with prizes. I think he was thrilled with the cookies and chocolate kisses that I left him. We also left the reindeer some celery. Everyone must have been hungry- everything was gone in the morning! Look at the new tent and sleeping bag that I got. I also got new play-doh, puzzles, a bird house, dinos, a huge garbage truck, binoculars, books and a magnifying glass. It was a great morning...I was very slow at opening presents. I liked to look at each toy after I opened it up and play with it for a minute. After we opened, we made a huge breakfast complete with bacon (we never make bacon at the house). I LOVE bacon! :) Then we took early naps. What a morning. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays! Decorating our Christmas tree

My mom and dad bought a great fake tree after Christmas last year (75% off at Target). We put it up this year right after Thanksgiving. I had a great time helping with the lights and ornaments. I got an 'elf on the shelf' book and doll this year from Cici, and one night he left me candy canes on the tree. We named him Elfie, and he would hide somewhere different in my house every night. He helped Santa watch over me to make sure I was being a good boy! I LOVE candy canes. I also had an advent calendar that was hung for the month. Each day I pulled out some candy or a prize. It was "fantastic!"

Charleston Tree Lighting at Marion Square Park

Our new house is 1 block from Marion Square. It is great to be able to walk up (or get pulled in my fancy wagon) there for all the activities they have going on- farmers market, soccer, and most recently, the tree lighting. It was "so fun!" The 3 wise men were there with real camels and Santa showed up to help light the HUGE tree. We drank hot cocoa and sang Christmas carols with everyone- the park was packed. It was also a very chilly night, so it made it seem more like Christmas time. After the tree was lit, we walked down to the harbor to watch the parade of boats. All of the sail and power boats were decorated with Christmas lights etc. and they cruised right by us all along shore. We ended our night at the pirate restaurant, where I enjoyed some fried shrimp. What a great night!

My 3rd Birthday party

I had a great 3rd birthday party. It was "fantastic!" We had some family and close friends over last Sunday, the 13th. I requested a "Plex the robot" (of Yo Gabba Gabba fame) cake. I loved my cake and I had a great time at my Party.

Sean Sullivan made balloon animals for me and all of my friends. Mr. Mike made the special cake at his bakery just for me. The weather was nice, so we were able to hang out inside and out. My mom and dad made me a birthday banner that I can use every year! I opened my favorite present 1st, (a 5-pack of all of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters) so I didn't want to open anything after that ("No, thank you"). I hope everyone is doing well.

When asked, I still say that I am 2...I have to be reminded that I am the big 3 now! I am excited for Christmas, but do not want to sit on Santa's lap. I look at him when we go to the Holiday Festival of Lights, but I will let the other kids sit on his lap.

Happy Birthday to me!!

YIPPEE...I'm 3! Here are a few pics that my parents had taken of me. I had a great day today and yesterday at my little party. I will have my mom post more pics of my party etc soon. Oh yeah, I am in my big boy bed for the 1st night tonight. I got a new twin size bed. So awesome! I call in my 'Ernie' bed, as in Bert and Ernie. We will see how the night progresses...

I'm waving HELLO...

...to my Grandma in MD. And, saying thank you for the fab sweater that she made for me. It fits perfectly and it will be perfect for the cold weather that is here in Charleston right now. I hope it warms up for my birthday party on Sunday.

Enjoyed spending time away at Thanksgiving. 2 days of relaxing. My dad really loved the outdoor fireplace/family room. We all spent a lot of time around the fire. I watched the 'Cars' movie for the 1st time with my cousins, Joseph, Marshall and McKenna in their huge movie room. It was awesome! Thanksgiving 2009

We had a great Thanksgiving in Atlanta, Ga. We go to my Aunt Heather and Uncle Pat's home. My Uncle Mark and my cousin, Evan came in from Colorado. I have never met them! All of the Charleston crew was there too, so it was great! We really missed my nana and big bumpa, but hopefully he will stay doing better, for a long while. We had a mini surprise Birthday cake/celebration for Cici. Happy 60th Cici! She keeps telling me that she is 29? ha! We went to Ikea and got me a new BIG boy bed. I call it my Ernie bed (from Bert and Ernie). It is a twin size platform bed. We have not put it together because my mom wants to order an organic mattress. I will post pics when it is set up and I am in it! The drive to Atlanta was fine...I am a great little traveler! I did 2 posts at once, so look below. Happy Holidays! What a wonderful time of year! It's official!

My dad is officially a SC attorney. We all went up to Columbia SC for his swearing in on November 16th, 2009. We are so proud of him...what a long 4 years! I was born right after my dad finished his 1st semester of law school exams. Crazy, right?
