Good Morning! A few recent photos. Ruby and I have matching costumes- take a look! We like to wear them around the house. This is my costume from last year, but it still kinda fits. I am doing really well, and trying to learn how to say trick-or-treat. I will let you all know how everything goes tommorow evening.

Simple Pleasure

Fall for Me!

Well, there is a new season upon me and things are very different. First of all, the rain is very cold now. I never minded water falling on my head before, but when my cousin Chloe and I went to the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show, we had to get all bundled up. Still it was fun to jump in the puddles and look at all of the cool boats.

Another thing that is weird is my hair is not as curly as it was when it was hot outside. We spend a little more time inside and that gives me a lot of time to hear my voice bouncing off the walls. Some of my new favorite things to say are: "Hi, guys!" "CHEERS!" "No Way" "Gee Whiz" and "Bubbles." Check out the pics.

I am trying to get better from a sinus infection right now. So are Mama and Da-da. I am going to be a chicken for Halloween.

Bye.

Flop!

School Daze and the girls next door ...

Hello, everybody. As we get deeper into fall, my experiences in school are getting richer and more interesting, so much so that I thought I would share with you all what has been going on. First, I should point out that school, in my opinion, is not limited to the four walls of the schoolhouse nor is it limited to the teachings of the school marm employed therein. No, to me school is all around us and is taught by all we encounter.

Having now defined the terms to my own satisfaction, I will proceed to enlighten you on my experiences of late in no particular order. First, I like to jump and flop onto my back. When performing this move, I count out a warning to my parents (one, two, two) and then thrust upward into the air and land on my back. It is fun to do this on the bed, not so much when I am on the floor, as I found out on my own. I have video of this and will try to post it for you. I will also take this new flop skill out into the world and into the safe environs of jump castles big and small, public and private. I didn't always like this activity. (see Christmas 2007).

Another thing I like already is Halloween. i like to see pumpkins, skeletons and spiders and look forward to dressing up as a chicken this year. I have been practicing my clucking around the house. I also look forward to my dad dressing up like a gorilla, because I saw the Gorilla hat and gloves in the store and it was hilarious when he put it on.

I also quite like the girls next door. They are very nice and play with me a lot even though they are several years older than me. The younger one likes to chase me around threatening that the tickle monster will catch me. Sometimes the "monster" does catch me (but don't tell her that I like it). We play a lot and I showed them how I paint outside. We also play trucks and golf together and go on wagon rides around the circle. They are cool.

I have started rating people as "cool" or "not" also by the way. Dad asks me what I think of people after I meet them and give him my rating. Most everyone falls into the "cool" category, so odds are, if you are reading this, you do to, but to protect your ego, I will not publish the list.

One of the other things I like is hats. They are a lot of fun to wear. Speaking of wearing things, I like to pick out my own clothes and do a pretty good job of it, if I do say so myself. As far as real school goes it is a lot of fun and I know the names of all the kids there and the teachers. They are all cool and good friends. You should come to school with me one day. If you use my definition above, you probably do. If that's the case, I can't wait to see you at recess. I'll introduce you to the girls next door.

Okay. Bye.
