HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hello.
It has been so long. Sorry. My parents say that there camera isn't working? I had a great holiday. I hope everyone else did too.
We went up to Maryland to visit family, and I hung out with my cousins Max, Aidan and Grady. My Grandma gave me a talking Elmo and I didn't know what to think of that. I kinda like it now and I dance when Elmo sings. My Pop Pop dressed up like Santa and I wasn't really down with that. It was cold, but there was no snow. Ruby (my dog) was happy about that...she is a southern girl. We drove up to Maryland and that was the longest road trip I have taken so far. I did GREAT! Then we came back to Charleston and celebrated with my other cousin, Chloe. My Uncle Josh gave Chloe and I a small jump castle. We blew it up in our living room. Chloe loved it and me, well, I'm not so sure. I got so many toys and clothes from everyone. Cici and Poppy gave me a wooden school bus and it has people in it. My MOST FAVORITE thing/toy in the world that I got for Christmas was a broom. I carry that thing EVERYWHERE. My momma and dad gave it to me and, man, do they know how to give gifts! WOW! I have carried it for weeks . . . but, now that I think of it I haven't seen it in a few days. Strange.
Everyone has been saying Happy New Year! I'm not sure what that really means...I go to bed every night at 7:00p.m. I guess we had a new year one night. We went to the annual Polar Bear swim on Sullivan's Island and jumped in the ocean. I have done this every New Year's Day of my life. We hope to continue this tradition- my dad LOVES it. Tons of people and dogs go and a lot of people and dogs dress up all crazy...it is great.
I went to the SC Aquarium with my parents. That was exciting. There was a huge tank of fish and a big sea turtle. I loved looking at all of the colors and swimming fish.
My dad started back to school. He is in his 4th of 6 semesters. He is doing awesome in school...I can't wait to go someday. I wish I could go with him. While he was off for a month he became my absolute favorite person and now I really miss him.
I will try to be better about posting, and hopefully we can get some pictures from other family members. Take care. XOXO.
