Spring Has Sprung & So Have I

WOW. In my last post I was talking about how cold it was. Now it is so hot outside, I rarely wear pants. Today was a blazer. A record setter, no less. Unfortunately, I found out that my feet sweat. Big time. They're like two damp sausages hanging off my legs.

I also realized that I don't really like parties that much. I love having company over, but once the crowd gets over 15 or so I am done with it. We all went to a baby shower last week, but I didn't last very long. Once I got back to the house I slept like an adult for three hours. I don't know any adults that get to sleep for three hours, though.

Next week my cousins Sophie and Auden are coming. They both are really curious about how big I am. To set the record straight, I am about 26" long and almost 15 pounds. Check that out! I will post a picture of Brett, my third cousin. Yep. Third cousin. She's my mom's cousin's daughter.

Oh, yeah, I'm starting to be able to sit up. I use my Bumbo seat and when I'm not doing that I play in my floor gym and kick and punch all of the stuff hanging in front of my face.

Last bit: Did anyone else watch Milan-San Remo today? What a race. I'm glad I got to watch it with Dad.

MORE NEWS: THIS JUST IN...I ROLLED OVER!!!

Well, that's all for now.

Winter Is Cold. Long Live Fleece.

Sometimes when I go outside it is very cold. This problem is made worse by the fact that I hate to wear hats. I hate hats because they always slip over my eyes in the car, so not only am I stuck staring at the dog all the time, randomly the "lights go out" as well. As soon as I can coordinate my hands, I am going to do something about that.

Lately I have been having a lot of fun in and around the house. I went to my first oyster roast over at Jason and Molly's and it was a bundle of fun but it was cold cold cold. Luckily, I was wearing a thick fleece suit. I posted a picture of me and Chloe and our friend Josie. I only just met her at the party, but she was cool and cute, too.

Speaking of meeting new people, Brett and her parents came over last night and all of us babies got together and slept. I slept in my swing, Brett slept in her car seat and Chloe, well, Chloe didn't sleep. All of the big people had a cookout and talked a bunch and laughed at each other. It was a bit much for me and Ruby, too. But after they all left, I jumped to action and stayed up late with Dad to watch TV. I slept in this morning until 8:45 and I think Mom was happy about that.

The weather here is getting quite nice and The Family is going for walks and Ruby is a good guard dog and sniffs the whole world and chases squirrels and runs fast into the woods. Silly dog. Dad is on Spring Break and gets to ride his bike a lot. I can't wait to ride a bike, too.

See you later.
