Halloween night 2011 Trick-or-Treating

We went over to Chloe and Piper's neighborhood. It was a blast. I decided about an hour before we left that I wanted to be "Super Ghost." I made it up. I had several other costumes here at the house that were ready to go, but that was not going to work for me. Luckily my Dad happened to be off the peninsula for a meeting and found the closest big box store on the way home. He came home with king size white pillow cases. PERFECT! We took the scissors to the cases and bam, super ghost was made. I already had all the accessories that super ghost needed. Trick-or-treating was great and I was allowed to pick 3 things out of my huge collection of treats from the evening. I picked pretzels as one of my 3...my parents loved that.

Pumpkin carving on Henrietta Street

Check out my face in these pics. Our house looked great all decorated with flying ghosts. Boo! Our pumpkins looked great too. I didn't want to touch the gooey inside of the pumpkins. Yuck!

Halloween Party at MFS 2011

The parents always go way out for our Halloween party. We had lots of games and tons of treats. We sang songs for the parents, had a parade and played outside on our creepy decorated playground. Yes, I was Batman for the 2nd year in a row for my school party. What can I say...who wouldn't want to be the man, I mean Batman.

Our Sweet Ruby

Everyone needs a morning breakfast snuggle. She is my dog. My sister. Part of our family. We can't believe that she will be 9 years old in March. We heart Ruby!

The Many Faces of CMF

from Fall 2011. One is from the Georgetown wooden boat show. Fun day trip for the family. One is watching a little acoustic Mat Kearney with my school friend, Jewel. Another is a silly face. I am super good at those faces for the camera! Also funny is the different length of my hair in all of these. Uncle Matt kept trimming and trimming this fall until we ended up with a very short (for me) haircut in December. XO

YO, Gabba Gabba LIVE!

The 3 of us went together. Great show. Even Biz Markie was there. We had awesome seats and I saw all my favorite guys!

Karate time!

I have been going to karate for almost 6 months now. I really love it and look forward to going once a week. I now want to be a samurai ninja (and an author) when I grow up. I am learning lots of cool moves and I like to practice them on my Dad. I have already moved up to the yellow and white stripe belt. I LOVE when my belt gets striped in class. Last week I was the only person that got striped...it was for my focus. That has never happened before. I am still learning to stay focused and not "spill" my power and focus by moving/wiggling around. THAT, my friends, is why karate is going to be sooo good for me!
